A day to reflect

A long time ago I started a company called PutMeOnTheList which was this idea that you would put your name on a list and your cell phone would be called when your table was ready.  That company became RIDSI because the name PutMeOnTheList was stupid. The idea of a list and cell phone paging was also stupid and I soon created an online ordering application.  I teamed up with some other people and figured out how to interface with the Aloha POS system and soon we were off to the races. I met my co-founder, Jim Garrett and we started Kudzu Interactive. Kudzu Interactive became SnapFinger.com which is now going to be another company after being acquired today.

I learned a lot from my co-founder, probably more than from my previous companies and any I have started since.  However we could not be partners.  I am pleased that a second company I started has gone on to be acquired.

I congratulate my former co-founder Jim on the acquisition and hope that the new company is a success.
